Loose extensions - Sarah

Dec 01, 2003 12:17

Full head of prostyles loose extensions, colour blended to match her natural hair and layered at the front. I think this is the first time we've done a full head of loose without a single unnatural colour involved! We're really pleased with how the blending went, and Sarah went away very happy with how natural it all looked - as she's an ( Read more... )

I want!
Seriously - my hair's not a dissimilar length from Sarah's, as well as being highlighted and this requiring blending, and I really, really want it the same length and style that she's ended up with. Can you quote me for this? I'd really, really, really like it done before Christmas. What are the chances? :)

before xmas - tricky - we may be able to squish you in on a friday evening. We'll need to meet up to cross check your hair with the colour ring, but we can get the hair on next day delivery.

Email me at work and we'll talk prices.

That really is good :) I've been wanting to do that method, but i dont have another person free very often unless i hire shelly, which with the things people keep asking for atm, is seeming like a possibility.

I'm really impressed, you guys really dont give yourselves enough credit for what you do... Its as good as any professional could do easily (and your porbably better than most of them anyhow ;)

wow - thanks :)

We were very pleased with the colour matching - especially as we don't get a lot of people wnating natural ccolours.

We use elastic braided in with the hair to secure each seal - there is no glue or heat to damage the hair
I have been using clear fishing line, which has held pretty well, but I like the idea of elastic [and now feeling quite dense for not thinking of it]. Do you use thread like elastics?

Thanks for showing the 'during' picture - gives me a better visual on how to attach the loose streaks.

It's literally sewing elastic from a haberdashers. It comes in tonnes of colours, we can ususally find a shade to go with the hair. We like it because as it slips, it tightens, and therefore doesn't slip as much.

you take a piece of sewing elastic about 5" long, double it over, braid it in with the hair, then tie it at the end of the braid, and cut off the loose ends.
