been a while, eh?
Well. i've been applying at a number of places. one other crappy retail job finally said yes.
so i've taken it. i'm still working one day a week at officemax. this serves two purposes.
give them the finger.
hold the job in case the new one doesn't work out.
i'm still looking at other places. i still want a job with an environmental company, LCRA, texasparks and wildlife. i need to hurry up and grad though. i'm sure that will help.
school is easy for me this semester. but i got to miss it today. i got in late last night... my mom woke me up at the ass crack of dawn (6 AM) to take her to work, and then drop her car off at the dealership. she said they would give me a ride home. it was a service they offered. i got the car there at 7:30. once i checked it in and everything, they said for me to wait upstairs in the waiting room. they would have a shuttle for me at 9 AM. i had class at 10. in the weather that we had i'd already decided that he was going to be late. i wait til about 9:15. went down. the guy said "you're still here?" he ended up getting one of the people that wasn't doing anything to \drive me home, but i was not happy. i got home at 9:45 and just slept. if it wasn't for the fact that my new boss called asking for more new hire info i probably would have slept til 3 or so.
