The Seeker

I watched an old movie today, from 1948.  I was flipping through the guide and saw the strange tittle and decided I had to see what it was.  I was sure it would be a kids movie or a cartoon or something.  It's called Scadda hoo!  Scadda Hay!   I got hooked on watching it right from the beginning and I LOVED IT!  It was just about some guy who bought 2 mules.  But it was good, really.  People talked so funny back then.  I read on IMDB that it's rumored to be Marylin Monroe's first movie.  Apparently she had a cameo in it, but I didn't even notice it was her.  It was in color.  Now I want to watch more old movies.  I used to watch some old John Wayne and Clint Eastwood movies with my dad.  I like MicLintock and The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.   I also used to watch Conan the Barbarian with my dad.  I loved Red Sonia.  I think it was my dad who got me into liking nerd movies....like with swords and magic and wizards and stuff.  I am really, really, liking Legend of The Seeker.  Even though it is EXTREMELY loosely based on the books that I fell in love with, it is still a good show.  And it's cool to get a mental picture of the characters that you imagined in your mind.  Speaking of....it's on right now!  GOTTA GO.
