EEEEElectricity

This weekend slipped past me and tomorrow it's back to work already.  I went to a Lia Sophia Rally in Wilkes-Barre yesterday which was a three hour drive.  The head Lia Sophia lady rented a van for us all to ride down in.  It was snowy hell and incredibly uncomfortable in the backseat of this van.  Plus the woman who had control of the heat felt it necessary to set the temperature on "hell."  But I don't want to talk about the rally...only that it was motivating and fun, but that it was unnecessarily long due to the 3 hour trip down and back. Plus I had no weekend, reallly, because of it.  So today is Sunday and I'm looking forward to doing nothing.  And that is precisely what I was able to do because the power went out.  THis means no TV, no computer, no lights, no stove, no heat.   I'm just proud in the fact that I am able to entertain myself with no electricity involved.  I did something that I haven't done since I moved in here...opened up one of the blinds in my living room to let some light in.  Then I layed on my couch and read a book in the sunlight.  I got cold...so I took a bubble bath by candle light.   I got hungry so I ordered som Pizza from a little store next to my appartment.  I actually had to look the phone number up on the phone book rather than using Google.  Blech.   Then I realized that I didn't have any lights or appliances turned on so I would have no way of knowing when the power came back on.  I flicked on the bathroom light and it worked.  I gotta say, I'm a little bummed because I was having so much non-electricity relaxation.  But at least I got to journal a little while I was waiting for the pizza to be ready.  I only have to walk down the street to get it!  Hooray!  I'll probably play computer games the rest of the day now that power is back on and read some more of the book at night before bed.   Ok...I'm off to pick up my pizza.
