i am about to commence making pancakes. my cat is going crazy crawling around my lap for attention. and my move to arizona is getting serious now even though it's still a year and a half off plans are in the air. i'm hoping to get enough monies in the bank so get down to phoenix a for a week in the end of may. i want to check out arizona state university in tempe because they have a museum studies program there that i'm interested in. right now i don't really know anything about the school's reputation in terms of other schools or the areas i'm interested in. though they seemingly have a great art program. so the plan is to fly down there and see how the desert suits me. i'm so restless to move now. eight years in michigan is far too long for a girl like me. born in lake forest, illinois, then florida, new york, hawaii, michigan (mt. pleasant and hazel park), pennsylvania, illinois again, indiana, michigan (holland, lansing, ann arbor). you may even count four months in italy. the longest i've ever lived in one spot is five years. though i've spent eight years in michigan total. i think it's about time i found my way west, for awhile at least. next week i start my short gre prep class at wcc. i'm not exactly thrilled about this class, but as i know nothing about the test i thought maybe i should look into it a little before i take it. i want to take it as soon as possible before my brain forgets how to take tests. atrophies. i am dreading this test.

i have not purchased new music in a million years (since november- the pagans). any recomendations? things not to be living without?
