Chicago calls me back to it's epic city life. I'm flying there this thursday. Spent one last amazing weekend in Vancouver after traveling Europe and now I have to get back to work on the comics and inspirations I've acquired. Get reacquainted with my family and home again, all that important stuff. I was feeling very anxious; insomnia, no appetite, hot flashes, but then I was sitting in an all night diner in the middle of Vancouver downtown with a hot chocolate and focaccia bread alone and reading Hunter S. Thompson and realized thoroughly that I was absolutely okay. purely fine.
I'm so happy; this last year was absolutely crazy! And for the first half I dealt with all the craziness in ways that made the occurrences and situations seem destructive, but I don't think my life will let up being unexpected and frightening at times.. anyways I love that crap and I'm having way too much fun, so if a zeppelin starts to race toward me again, I'll know it is an occupational hazard that I'm happy to risk, cause even in the apocalyptic heavy city of Chicago there is a lot of beauty and sweetness in people and artwork.
