Hmmmm. I've made a fair amount of girl costumes in the past year as well, but none of them have been girly, frilly or feminine. Seras is a uniform, Dr. T was a suit, Sheeta was kind of girly but in a little girl sort of way. There was Samus, but I'm not happy with it, and I made Lavi, but yeah not really. It's true I wore Robin but she is a bit of a Nun, I wore Ilia but she is a neutral colored potatoe sack. There was Deedlit but I picked the stripped down plain version. The only frilly thing I've worn recently was Meroko and that was just for a photoshoot back at Anime Boston.
In fact I haven't MADE anything super feminine since Utena last AB. I'm sensing a huge girly costume back lash coming, especially considering what I've got planned for Katsucon won't be very feminine either. The inner girl in me is coming out and I'm thinking something REALLY big and frilly will have to be made to make up for avoiding ruffles for over a year.
On a side note: If anyone can get me the song India and Liz used in their skit or the Alegria remix (original would be great too) from the Oh! My Goddess skit it would be awesome. Thanks~
