(no subject)
So. The oddness.
I was walking through the cafeteria passed a couple (or something) playing with each other. He was somewhat choaking her with her latchkey, though not to any problem I could see. As I walked past the woman said, "Help me" and I turned to look. It was obvious that she was joking so I turned my head back. Next she said, "Don't just look away, I need help." So I stopped and turned to them. She still looked like she was enjoying this but none-the-less I asked, "Do you sincerely need help? Because I do not want to do what I will." She just continued laughing, but didn't answer. I waited and she finally said she was joking.
When I started to walk away again he asked, "What would you have done?" This was stated in the tone of yeah, babe. Watch me, I'm the baddest. My response was, "I'd kick your ass" Shrugged, then walked off smiling... I doubt that was his intended result. The guy was about 4/3 my size.
Woe is the sad smile I saw later from my favorite smile.
