Breaking the seal
Bed crisis solved. Took more patient rearranging and a trip to Home Depot for a bunch of wooden slats for some much-needed structural stability, but the huge bed I bought is now in our room and we are keeping our big mattress and our new sheets.
I was seriously having "a day," even my mom said I sounded like a hysterical basket case. Happens to the best of us. Mostly happens to me when I am bored, which is what more than 5 days of vacation does to me.
We saw Mates of State last night in SF and it was awesome! This super nerdy dude somehow got in cahoots with the band and then got up on stage in the middle of the show and proposed to his nerdy girlfriend after which they danced around on the stage to the next song. Super cute. It was an awesome show in general, although I think it made Graham fantasize about finding a hot keyboard-playing voice-harmonizing wife so he can just tour his whole life playing drumset and writing awesome songs.
It's going to be hot today. I am going in the pool. The first swim of the season is always surprisingly cold, but it has to be done.
