Irregardless is a word but you shouldn't use it. It's a double negative, as in "not regardless", so you actually give regards to something. If your point is that something is independent of another thing, then say "regardless" and sometimes even "irrespective". Never "irregardless."

I am craving chocolate. RIGHT
A craving for something >> craving as a noun
Craving something >> craving as a verb
