You craaazy
I'm going with the "just go with it" philosophy. I'm not going to let life
happen to me, but I'm not going to worry about things I can't change either. Especially the future. I worry about the future 95% of the time I'm worried. Which is 95% of the time.
I don't care what philosophers have studied and argued for thousands of years, it all comes down to one thing: Life is funny. It can be like "oh man my stomach hurts from laughing so much" funny or like "looking back I guess it all makes sense" funny or "wow that pretty much sucks now all I can do is sit back and try to figure things out" funny. But mostly just whimsical, silly, gigantic golf umbrellas in the backseat of your car funny. The Big Man in the sky moving around all his Lego pieces and watching them hit their heads on ceilings sort of funny. Eating ice cream on a cold windy day or throwing a frisbee and watching it soar behind you kind of funny.
Rain takes away all my energy, shoves it in a blender, and recycles it as a big juice box of Life. Then when it's sunny I go outside and drink my juice box of Life and rejoice at how wonderful and full of energy I am. Right now, I'm just sitting in my rocking chair waiting for my juice box, because I know the rainy day blues are going to disappear soon, and there's only so much energy that can be sucked out of me and into a juice box.
