Whew!
Hi, there! I wanted to write something while it was still July. As you can guess, I'm pretty terrible about keeping up with "me" some months. A lot has been going on in July for sure, and I'm happy for the business.
At the beginning of the month, I used my document design skills to whip up and shape up pages for a family reunion booklet (a friend of my mother's - Mrs. Bailey). Her daughters, who went to school with Zandria and me, hosted the weekend event July 9th-11th in Nashville, but a lot of the legwork got done in Memphis as well (mainly thanks to Mrs. Bailey and my mom). I was able to contribute with the book and making a Doss & Brooks Family Reunion logo template for the name tags and itinerary, so that made me feel good (and kept me quite busy!).
This month alone, I've been to two orientations: one for UPS (potentially working part-time as a package handler), and one for Kelly Educational Staffing (potentially subbing for private schools in Memmphis, and, if I wish to later, public schools in nearby Desoto County, Mississippi. I'll stick with the smaller classes of the private schools for now. If I'm blessed to work both positions (or two other part time jobs), I will do so. Gotta build back my depleted funds and start saving for travel to the JLPT test site in December and such. I pray that I'll be blessed with at least one position.
