So I've recently signed on to be the PR (Public Relations) Director of a label based out of Texas called Doll House Recordings. You can find the site at www.dollhouseinc.com
Anyway, I'm doing things like writing band bios and press releases, making sure that magazines and webzines get new releases and review them and set up interviews. Generally I'm the guy that helps bridge the barrier between the bands/label and the people who listen to them or possibly could.
Included on the label are GODS (the new band of ex-Zao drummer Jesse Smith) and a side band featuring members of Comeback Kid and Figure Four. There are also quite a few other great bands (The Kirby and The Bear) that are worth your time as well.
Anyway, I've created myspace for the label. It would be great if any or all of you guys would add it. You can find it by searching for simply "Doll House Recordings" or using the email address "thegunsofbrixton_@hotmail.com" I'm also creating a purevolume site and looking at rates for adspace in several bigger magazines (SPIN, Blender, etc).
