AIDS Walk
Here's your chance to sponsor me in my walk for AIDS Project RI. My goal is $100.00. I hope I can reach that goal (or even more!!) this year. I know things are tight, but RI is looking to cut its spending on programs such as AIDS Project RI, because our budget is not balanced. And, unlike the federal government, state governments cannot run a deficit!
AIDS Project Rhode Island is a private nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide a non-judgmental safe environment where people affected by HIV can access resources to make informed decisions regarding their quality of life, and to stop the transmission of HIV through advocacy, prevention, and education programs.
The walk through Roger Williams Park in Providence will be on Sunday, June 3rd. Please visit AIDS Project RI for more information about where your money goes.
