I was sick yesterday. I was nauseous and had a terrible headache and slept a lot. My throat also hurt. I remember sleeping and having my heart like skip beats or something and I couldn't breathe and I woke up. I was having a dream that Caitlin said something really awful to me, but I can't remember what it was. It must of upset me for my heart to do that. I tried to say something back to her, but the words wouldn't come out. It was very, very strange. I only went to two classes, and German was awful because I was so sick. I didn't get anything accomplished by going. Only I had to go because I missed Friday because I was just so tired.
Last night was the Corner Blitz dinner at Max and Erma's. The Corner Blitz is a special student section for football. The directors invited everyone who had helped out during the year. It was a nice time. I ate so much food. I had cheddar fries, black bean roll ups, and potato soup for appetizers. I split the roll ups and fries with four or five other people though, so it wasn't like I ate it all. I had chicken fingers for dinner with fries and honey mustard. For desert, I had the most decadent carmel fudge cheesecake I've ever had in my entire life. It was so rich I had to bring half of it home with me. So it's sitting happily in my fridge. Lucky for me, Caitlin is lactose intolerant so she can't steal the cheesecake like she steals my chocolate. Jerk. I know I said I was nauseous, but after I had some Coke to drink I felt better. I think it was because I hadn't eaten all day that I felt crummy near the end of my day.
I got to give my presentation early so I can go home on Tuesday night!!! Hooray! I am super excited about this because it means that I get five days off for Thanksgiving. Yes! I will probably also visit the school on Wednesday then. I promised Mrs. Rogulsky, a teacher at my high school, that I would come back someday and be her TA, so maybe Wednesday would be a good day for that. I will let her know as soon as the plans are more concrete. I don't plan on going to German even if I do have that class. I can always make up the absence at Kaffeestunde. I think I might go to that if I have time on Wednesday after the SAF meeting.
I keep my Audrey Hepburn movies in order by studio. I took a pause from my entry and put them in order first by studio then by date. From Paramount: Roman Holiday, Sabrina, War and Peace, Funny Face, Breakfast at Tiffany's, and Paris When It Sizzles. From Warner Brothers: Love in the Afternoon, My Fair Lady, and Wait Until Dark. From Fox: How To Steal a Million and Two For The Road. From Universal: Charade From MGM: The Children's Hour. I know it sounds obsessive, but I was bored, and well, I like to keep thing like that in order. Though you wouldn't be able to tell from my room. I think it's a collection thing.
There is a boy in my German class that walked me all the way to the Union today after class. He had class in Berkey, so it was kind of the same direction, but it would've been shorter for him to go straight north instead.
I finally got to watch Two For The Road with the Stanley Donen commentary. I really enjoyed it. Audrey didn't want to make the movie at first, but I can't imagine it without her.
There is the Darth Tater complete with light saber on my dresser. There's the light saber I bought for you on your bookshelf. You have Star Wars Monopoly from our trip to Ludington. There's the pictures of the trip on my computer. There are the pictures of our Halloween costumes and pictures from the party at your apartment that I met you at. I have Christmas present ideas that I'm not sure I want to use. There are the late-night IM conversations. The formal dinner reservation is already turned in for your work Christmas party. I don't even know if I want you to come for Thanksgiving. I have decisions to make. And Mr. Holcomb's advice keeps running through my mind. "Everyone has choices. The trick is to make the right one." And I don't know what choice to make.
