Warm Front (UO)

Oct 18, 2007 18:59

The weather turns warm today with an average of 17oC during the day and 14oC at night. It is warm enough that I can put on my t-shirt and a pair of jeans. This was not the case a few days ago when the average was 7oC during the day and 1oC at night with a warning of frost on the ground. In fact, two Fridays ago, the temperature reached nearly 30oC if I recall correctly. The fluctuation of temperature is a sign of fall and it is indeed when the leaves turn red and begin to fall on the ground that the ground staff have to sweep the road everyday.

I am still working on the paper proposal for both of my sociology courses. I am trying to read more theories so that I will know what I am able to analyze in my paper. Therefore, the professors will understand what approaches I will be using in my research. The desire to finish the work is strong and it motivated me to be very productive this morning when I was at the library. Once I got back from lunch, I did not feel like working at all. I opened my book and was watching cooking shows on web. Now, I only have less than an hour left before my Foot Patrol shift, so I should better start doing something.
