so... i just spent some time with hawthorne heights
yesterday it seemed like all dreams came true... kinda like a fairy tale
Woke up at 8. waited outside of LaZonaRosa till the doors opened at 10
While waiting and waiting got to be on Fuse... but hey, since I watch Fuse
Saw a bunch of bands I knew and some I didn't really know:
---the Starting Line ---Fall Out Boy ---the Honorary Title ---Midtown ---
--Jacks Mannequin ---Jamison Parker ---Graditude ---Hawthorne Heights ---
I SO loved H.Hs and Fob's performance. was so much energy bouncing everywhere.
Gratitude were pretty good, did their own thing. liked the bassist and guitarist.
Okay so Something Corporate isnt broken up, but the lead singer has a side band;
Jack's M. Even though it wasnt s.c, just seeing him perform was enough for me since
I missed 'em when they came last month. gawd, I just love his voice and the piano
When it all finished around 4ish got to talk, hang out with, and drive around w/ H.Hs
They're just some guys who play and sing, not cocky as some bands are. got free shit
I didnt think my day could get any better after that kickass showcase... but...
After that, walked down 6th street and went to this other show. It was like kinda
unknown indie bands. I have to admit it, they were pretty good. So after that, strolled
again, at an intersection saw guys who reminded me of the RiverCityRebels. stopped,
went up to em, went physco cos it was em! Didnt expect to see em after W.Tour...
but omgx10... talked to em, and they were playing at 8. yesss. so we left to the mall
real quick, came back and no parking spaces and were broke. So no choice but home
Spent the whole day in Austin, loved it. meet so many ppl, so many bands *sigh*
Got SO much more than I expected. So happy.. no, ecstatic.. no, jubilant... all?
I smell like smoke + beer + mountain dew + some enegry drink + emo kids + cigs
I'm going to take a looong shower... All in all, spring break fuckin rocked
