Honestly...I've learned a lot about how the media tends to really distort stories about science. It's made me very wary of articles I read in mainstream newspapers about science.
They're right about that being one of the most respected peer-reviewed journals, though, which intrigues/troubles me. I can't wait to read the actual article and the rebuttal (which I'll have to do by huddling in the main WVU library for an afternoon; they have a subscription to the journal, of course, but it doesn't circulate).
