Morning Post
* Two more were killed yesterday. Current total, 27 soldiers, 2 civilians.
* So we now have a badly-wounded lt.col. (Egoz commander) to go with the Golani brigadier. (Welcome to Israeli officer casualty rate: because our officers are on the fucking front, doing leadership from where it's supposed to be done, in front of their troops.)
* Ah, finally (a checkmark on statistics, not satisfaction): in rioting in the Bank, a Palestinian was shot dead. Military Police will, of course, investigate.
* Shooting attack at a junction in the Bank, Israeli civilian badly wounded, shooter escaped
* So one of the killed was a Solitary, a soldier whose family doesn't live here. He was also a Maccabi Haifa (soccer) fan. So yesterday, the fanclub put up a "By the way, guys, show up? We don't want his funeral to be empty." This got shared everywhere on social media, resulting in some 20k people showing up. A lot of those didn't even fit in the cemetery.
Also a lot showed up with flags.
