It is the destiny of the human race to be involved in countless conflicts, it seems. We fight ourselves meaninglessly, while much greater threats loom overhead, from beyond the sea of stars. Terrorists, a corrupted government, giant monsters...humanity must always fight.
This is the Captain's Log of Daitetsu Minase, first captain of the Space-Noah class ship, Hagane. The following posts and records are for those who would come after me, so that they may learn from the mistakes of humanity, and work onwards towards peace.

My executive officer, Tetsuya Ondera, has in the past year, gained all the skills nessisary to captain his own ship, and yet...he is still hesitant, green. It's as if he holds himself back, perhaps out of respect. If something should happen to me, I have no doubt he will continue to lead my children onboard the Hagane to victory.
