Icy's blank look is very blank.

"Well, you guys probably froze it and we do that too. Anyway, don't worry about it. Some of this should probably wait until you've built up your vocabulary some more." Ed waves it off.

She hesitantly nods agreement, though she's not sure what 'vocabulary' means, either.

[dantespet]

"Dunno about anyone else, but I'm getting thirsty." Alphonse goes over to a cupboard to get a glass.

He glances over his shoulder at Icy. "Sure you don't need a drink?"

"Yes." She frowns absently and very carefully straightens Ed's braid. "I had some water before I came."

[dantespet]

Alphonse nods his acceptance of that before heading to the fridge to nab the milk jug to pour himself some. When he sees the 'ew' face his brother is making, he gives him the hairy eyeball.

"Not one word," he warns. "It's not like I'm making you drink it."

"He's always hated milk," he explains to Icy as he returns the jug to the fridge and goes back to his seat. "Even Mom couldn't get him to drink it. She had to add it to stew or whatever to get it in him."

Ed frowns but stays quiet, as ordered.

Icy looks at him, then at the glass and wrinkles her nose. "Milk is for hatchlings."

[dantespet]

"No wonder you and Brother get along," Alphonse says dryly.

[random_xtras]

She frowns at him. "He helped me when I was sick and afraid, and he is a kindly person."

Then she looks back at Ed. "Maybe you should not share your cookies with him."

She maybe hasn't quite picked up the fact that Ed and Al won't be able to smell what's in that box.

"He was kidding," Ed assures her. "And maybe I shouldn't."

He gives Al a slightly evil smile; to which he only gets rolled eyes.

((Actually, Ed can smell the food in the box. :D))

"Yeah, he can be decent when he wants to be. But he can also be a pain in the rear," Alphonse tells Icy.

"I don't know what that means yet." She pokes curiously at the little motorcycle, one hand still 'protecting' Ed.

"He means that I can be annoying," Ed tells Icy. He wanders over to the box and starts looking for the nearest piece of tape to pull off. He wants at the cookies he could smell inside. Never mind that they're of no use to him, he still wants them.
