Are you familiar with his Wisconsin counterpart Helmut Finch? A man of similar shortcomings, but even more reclusive and self-contained. Nor has he gotten posthumously famous, like the Man from Providence. Finch did not have a memorable monster like Cthulhu, nor was he as well-read as Lovecraft.
