I've just been to Copenhagen, where Sand ran a game of Warhammer Fantasy rpg (3rd ed.) for us this weekend. That was great fun. It's a bit daunting with all the weird colored dice, but once we got into the swing of it, it ran pretty smoothly. My character was an Altdorf student turned itinerant river boatman. Much fun was had. Beastmen had seemingly overrun a small village out in the sticks, and our characters (my boatman, a barber-surgeon-turned-lay-preacher, and a road warden)fought them off, only to discover that the village may have brought it on themselves. Dun-dun DUNH! To be cont.
Later we watched the horror-comedy Severance, and the horror-rom-com (kinda) May. The latter being a long-time favorite of mine, the former being good fun.
Now I'm back home, and enjoying it. One of the disadvantages of Visiting Sand and Mr. X is that I have to sleep in the kitchen, wedged in between the oven and the fridge, forever bumping my arm against the latter. Outside their window there's a merciless strip light turning night into day. In short: WAAH! I have missed my comfy bed, but the rest was lovely.
