"A denim jacket's not an opera jacket!"
I haven't been writing lately. Fiction I mean. I've got plenty of ideas (that part's easy, like everyone says), I just haven't felt the need or the energy. Just the occasional twinge of guilt.
I've been reading a good deal though. Right now I'm in the middle of three books:
Peter Straub (ed.) AMERICAN FANTASTIC TALES, Volume 1: Terror and the Uncanny from Poe to the Pulps.
Chuck Palahniuk - Diary.
John Scalzi - Old Man's War
As well as a lot of stuff about the
Recovery approach. That talk I'm going to on Monday has something to do with that as well.
I've also started watching The Booth At The End. VERY impressive performances, I must say. Also mysterious and intriguing. The series has already inspired an rpg called
Crossroads. It's written by my countryman Per Fischer. I've bought it, but I've yet to read it.
