This has been a very cruddy weekend for me.
First off, and most importantly, we found out Friday that my dog's kidneys had failed, and that we had to put him to sleep. Now, my dog was my best friend in the entire world, so, I wasn't happy. At all. After we did, we had to go to my grandparents house, which made things a bit better, because I love going over there. But the reason we went was because it was my great-grand-mother's birthday, on my mom's dad's side. We went to the party today, and it was so boring. I have no cousins my age, or even near my age, so I sat there and listened to my iPod. For 3 1/2 hours. Then on the way home, we had to stop at Amelia's house and return their flip-flops. So, I had to sit there for another hour. Then, when we finally started home, my mom said we were going to stop at Town Creek (a campground) and see if we wanted to stay there for Labor Day Weekend, since it's on the river. Well, we waited and waited for a pass to get in, because the man at the gatehouse was on the phone. My mom was talking to some people who had been waiting for him to get off for 15 minute. Finally, we just went in. My mom had to stop and look at nearly EVERY SITE. Yeesh. Then, we were stopped in town by one thing after another. It took us nearly four hours to make a usually 1 hour 15 minutes trip. It was horrible.
