I wanted to thank everyone who weighed in on the poll in my previous post. You guys are great. I've decided to go with this handsome fellow.
And what's more, I managed to find a way to reduce the price (through rebates and online offers, via www.appleinsider.com + www.clubmac.com) to $889! bonus!
So, good deal. That's only a little more than $100 bucks past the repair price for my iBook. Of course there's the applecare cost, and some new software to replace out of date software, so it's still a bit more total cost, but that's all all right.
