I love fall for so many reasons.
5 reasons to love Fall:
1. Cooler weather. I hate being hot, but I don't like being cold either. I like it in between, on the cooler side. Spring just makes me sneeze. Fall weather is my ideal climate.
2. Fall Foliage. I love the colors of the leaves as they turn, the way they float on the breeze, the sweet smell they leave on the air and the way they crunch under my feet.
3. College Football. And my Sooners are #1 in the nation. Doesn't get better than that.
4. Knitting weather. It's not so much fun to knit warm, fuzzy mittens and scarves and such when it's 90-100 degrees. But when it's cooler out, it's nice to cuddle up and knit something nice and wooly. And in fall, it becomes knit-wearing weather as well. I love scarves.
5. New TV seasons. Heroes is good again, and that's exciting. Dexter is back! and he's always amazing. But the show I am the very most excited about this year is Chuck. I LOVE CHUCK. I got the first season DVD like a week and a half ago, and I've already watched it through twice - and I want to watch it again soon! If you haven't watched this show before now, you NEED to. Interesting premise and characters + very talented and attractive cast + engaging writing with a healthy dose of action and comedy = BEST SHOW EVER. And it's one of those that is completely underrated. It only got saved last year because of the strike, and I couldn't be more excited that it's been picked up for a full season this year. But if it gets canceled, I will cry and cry. Seriously. WATCH CHUCK, GUYS. It's really good and really funny. It has Adam Baldwin, and Yvonne Strahovski and Zachary Levi are fantastic together - and they are both really, really pretty. Tomorrow night (Monday) at 7 PM (central time) I will be watching Chuck on NBC. And so should you!
