Cassie and I went to the Oklahoma Aquarium on saturday! It was fun. Best parts were the shark tunnel - you basically get to walk through the big shark tank, and they're swimming all around and overhead, and it's not scary at all but kind of gives you vertigo. And the tropical fish! It's just so amazing that something can naturally be those colors. Like half bright yellow and half electric purple, looking like somebody just dipped the fish in paint. It's incredible. They have a tank where you can pet the rays, but it was closed at the time :-( I got to touch a starfish, though. Not as exciting. Kind of tough and slimy and there's really no way of telling if it was actually alive.
After the aquarium we went to my house and watched Clarissa Explains it All on DVD. That's one show that is really and truly every bit as awesome as you remember. And we watched The Little Mermaid, which is also obviously still the best ever.
I did nothing to even out my tan. I'm not sure it would work even if I did, it usually doesn't. Kind of sucks because I was going to wear a new top this next weekend, and it has no sleeves. I might say to hell with it and wear it anyway :-D
So I'm back again this week to ask someone to help me find this week's Doctor Who... It sounds sad since I just got helped last week, doesn't it? But I really have no idea how to find it myself. I also say "someone" as though I have no idea where this help is going to come from. Jordan? :-D I need the hookup.
