...and Barnes was all like, "fuck you, Noble."

For those of you who aren’t familiar with my awesome friend Carol P, proud owner of rick’s café, here are some photographs she took from our adventure on Saturday, guest starring my friends Wedgehead, Kendra Dority, and Todd.

i think this is actually ryan and ashley's dad's hat but i think it makes me look like madeline.

the one on the right is my friend Todd (it takes a real man to do that, kids).

The first half of the day consisted of visiting a lagoon in Malibu (I wasn’t aware the lagoons existed in Malibu), getting FroYo and shaved ice at Malibu Yogurt, an unsuccessful attempt at getting Indian food for lunch, opting instead for three big, fat, and free burrito [logs] at Chipotle, and getting hot for Maggie Gyllenhaal in Happy Endings (a movie that I would recommend all of you to watch, for the incredibly awkward Maggie Gyllenhaal-Tom Arnold sex scene, if nothing else).

Afterwards, Kendra and I went to the pound and got an amazing St. Bernard puppy named Howard for Anthony’s birthday. We got lots of stares and compliments when I walked him around Westwood. Unable to make reservations at P.F. Chang’s, the three of us had to settle for the grossest/worst birthday dinner ever: The Olive Garden of Westwood. There, I ate about 12 breadsticks and thought up the invention to start my carreer: GoCaine (designer cocaine presented in svelte, on-the-go packages). Following the terrible dinner, I hung out with Ashley Petersen for a bit in her [Troian’s] backyard with Kendra and Anthony. Around 11:30 PM , I received a call from Erica and Blessing telling me they are on their way to Westwood to meet me in order to surprise Anthony for his birthday.

The night consisted of peeing around dumpsters, two different 7-11 trips, chain smoking on the bum’s benches outside of the Santa Monica Pier, and eating jello out of my hand. I got home around 4:30 AM and passed out without washing my face or changing my clothes. Longest day ever.

On a brighter note, I went to see Yo-Yo Ma perform at the Hollywood Bowl yesterday. Good stuff.
