It had been six years since Quinn had been back to Lima, but she was back there now because she heard her father was sick. They had barely talked since her parents sent her away, but he was still her father and she had to see him. She wasn't sure whether he was going to live or die and if he would die, she didn't want it on her mind that she never got to say anything to him.
But six years. The last time she was in Lima, she was dating Sam Evans. Had lost her virginity to him. The thing that Sam never knew though was that the reason she left was because she had ended up pregnant, which was the reason her parents sent her away. Her parents just said she wanted to leave Lima, wanted to get out of there and never look back. She had tried several times to call Sam somehow, to tell him they had a five year old son, but she never could. She didn't now why she couldn't, but she just couldn't. Part of her didn't want to ruin his life with a child, another part was scared that he'd not care. Even if she had known Sam was different than other guys.
Today though, after paying a visit to her father in the hospital, Cole - her son - and her were in the grocery store, going down the aisles to get a few things to eat while they stayed in a hotel in town. He was happy at the moment, sitting in the cart and eating a few cookies Quinn had in a baggie in her purse.
