It was the Friday before Valentine's Day, the big day itself being on Tuesday. It was about midday at school and Quinn was at her locker, the relationship Artie and Quinn had developed - being girlfriend and boyfriend - was still secret because she still didn't want people to judge him and quite honestly, to judge her. She was still vain, though not nearly as much. She couldn't help it though, being popular was all she knew for a long time and she wasn't sure she could live without it. She needed to have eyes on her, but in a good way. Not in any kind of freak way. Which was even why she stood at her locker, getting a couple books out, she noticed a fellow student staring at her, which had Quinn giving him a bright smile and a little wave before turning her attention back on her locker.
She was actually excited about the upcoming Valentine's Day though, even if Quinn was sure Artie wasn't going to plan anything. They couldn't really go out in public together, not in Lima. If one person from their school saw them out together, kissing or anything, within a day it'd be all around the school.
