Doctors Note
I am sick, my mind and body unable to be distracted by my petty escapism that makes up my day causes me to turn my bitterness inwards to examine the paths set before me. I am not permitted to skip a class without a doctor's note.
What is a doctor's note? Is it not a signed testimony that affirms your word to be true? What little value those in the field of academics have placed upon the word of their student. What man should leap out of rest, spend what he has earned to travel to a doctor, merely to attain a testament that his word is accurate.
