Happy Mardi Gras, y'all, from alla New Orleans and from me! Hope y' can stand t' celebrate by eating some o' th' usual stuff at dinner tonight: I'm gonna go all out. It is too bad I can' watch th' parade or hear th' music righ' now...but I'll see plenty o' it once I'm outta school! And maybe Mama will be able t' snap a couple o' pictures.
But yes! As we say in N'Orleans, laissez les bons temps rouler! Let the good times roll!
((OOC: Haha, yeah, the holiday that Tiana loves the very most? Definitely Mardi Gras. Mardi Gras sort of had to distract her from being a bit disgusted by the comment of the "pureblood families" in the recent Daily Prophet article and being confused by the red string connected to her on V-Day that she chose to ignore. (*cough* It was connected to a person, fyi. ;D) XDD Anyone at dinner tonight will see platters of
Jambalaya,
Chicken Creole, red beans and rice,
beignets and a traditional
King Cake at each of the tables.))
