Here's a woman, though she'd protest she's not much of a lady. She frowns. "What happened to your arm?"

[hadley_bright]

'I seem to have burnt it, miss,' Hadley-Bright replies. He looks embarrassed.

[dragon_dealer]

"Well yes, obviously. I meant how." She comes up to investigate. She's fairly familiar with burns.

[hadley_bright]

'My coat caught fire.'

[dragon_dealer]

She laughs a bit. "What, spontaneously?"

[hadley_bright]

Hadley-Bright smiles. 'Not as such, no.'

[dragon_dealer]

"Well then. Come on, we might as well get it cleaned up and bandaged. Were you cooking?"

[hadley_bright]

Hadley-Bright is rather surprised to find a woman taking charge so quickly, but he simply bows and says, 'Thank you. I was not. It was a young lady. A chair had set fire, and I pulled her from it. She said she did not know how it had happened, but when she took my arm-'

"She set you on fire?"

[hadley_bright]

'My sleeve, actually. But I do think so.'

[dragon_dealer]

"Hm. Magic, then?" She steering him to a place where she can clean the wound and dress it, wherever is closest.

[hadley_bright]

'It must have been.' He glances at Cimorene with interest. 'Do you know much of magic, miss?'

[dragon_dealer]

"Some. My lessons got cut off prematurely, so I had to teach myself most of what I know from books and things. I know a fireproofing spell, if you plan to spend much more time with the lady."

[hadley_bright]

'Indeed, miss? I would be glad to learn it, even if I do not.' He adds, with an air of confession, 'I have only successfully performed one spell. But I have not studied long.'

[dragon_dealer]

"Oh? What spell?"

[hadley_bright]

'I cannot recall the name. I think it is one of Belasis's, but it may well have been Pale.'
