Five new icons! (Be amazed)
I've made a grand total of five icons. I have ideas for many more, but I'm still gathering colour information and whatnot. I'm also trying to make my icons better than a simple "clean up and add text" - make them pretty.
So, it'll be a while.
Anyway...
This one is from the new Azuma Kiyohiko manga, Yotsuba&! or Yotsubato!. "Enjoy Everything" is sort of the theme of the manga.
This one was on a shirt ad that I saw. At first I was annoyed; then I got an IDEA!!1 So now I've made my first official "fuck you, religion" icon. I feel so rebellious.
Damn, it took forever to get the "girl" part to look right, and I still don't think the icon looks all that great. I don't know how to make animated icons; otherwise, I would have animated the "girl" part (made it sparkly or something).
These next two feature MST3K quotes (or altered quotes) with an anime character. Hopefully, these won't be the last we see of MST quotes with a non-MST icon.
This one is Freeza, everyone's favourite super-androgynous five-minutes-turns-into-twenty-episodes bitch villian. The quote "excuse me, sexless man-woman!" is from the MSTed short, Mr. B Natural.
Every dub has its problems. One of Inuyasha's happens to be Kaede's super archaic yeing. God, I hate that "ye." Also, no one else SAYS "ye." So why does she? (Don't answer the rhetorical question, please.) So I took a quote from the MST episode of Eeegah! and put it here, somewhat altered. The original quote is "Stop saying 'whee!' Nobody says 'whee!'"
