Dear Internet,
I have such wonderful friends.
I had a magnificent entourage of smartly dressed men in suits and waistcoats. The entourage was equal parts to make me look important and in case I fell over. We pretended to be polite and dignified for as long as we could (which isn't very long for some people), while progressively drunkening ourselves, and then went to flail around at the waterfront.
I resolve to make more excuses to get my friends to dress up smart and drink themselves silly.
Just in case it hadn't occurred to anyone else: Strapless dress + waterfront = ... well, it wasn't very dignified. But then neither am I. Especially at the Waterfront. But I was purple, which is my favourite thing to be. And flailing around to music, which is a close second.
And soon another wonderful friend will be back, and everything will be right again. Entourage was definitely missing sass. Sass and smarts.
