Finished Mistress of the Art of Death by Ariana Franklin. I liked it. It was an interesting mystery written in a very interesting time. It was also kind of humorous. Found the climax a bit disturbing, but I knew who the killer was as soon as she said his eye color. Maybe I should have gotten it sooner, but I completely forgot about the place where the guy was from. Sometimes names of places just don't stick.
I read Christ the Lord: Out of Egypt by Anne Rice. It was interesting. A very fast read. It was a little sadder than I thought that it would be considering the fact that it was when Jesus was a child. But still good.
I went to the library today to take out some more books. The library nearest to me doesn't have the fullest collection though. These are the books that I took out and the order that I will probably read them in:
- Christ the Lord: The Road to Cana by Anne Rice
- Death on the Nile by Agatha Christie
- Dirty Job by Christopher Moore
- The Serpent's Tale by Ariana Franklin
- Grave Goods by Ariana Franklin
Anyway, that is all for now.
Love,
