Because I'm insane
Yes, well, the writers among us know what day rapidly approaches, and that would be the start of NaNoWriMo. Being the eternal sucker that I am, tonight I impulse-joined a local NNWM group at the local Borders. Gary and I were out and he insisted on going by Borders, since I had mentioned it earlier; I had actually decided not to go because it would get him home so late. But he can be very stubborn when he wants to be, and so we went. (Even the reason I wanted to go was an impulse thing-- he's been buying me episodes of Friends on DVD because Chandler/Matthew Perry reminds me so much of Gary.) And the end result of all this impulsing was that a local NNWM group was having its first meeting there tonight and they pulled me in when they saw me standing at the edge of the gathering, trying to figure out if I had heard correctly that it was a writer's group. So yay impulse, BIG yay Gary, and I suppose even a yay to Matthew Perry, wherever he is. :P
