Update:
Recent adventures in Johannesburg include.....
*Getting computer back...then it broke again...then back again...now broken again..ah!
*Watching the big Pirates/Chiefs game in Alex on Sunday. These are the two major soccer teams around here and obviously I am a Pirates fan...Yar! Unfortunetly, the Chiefs won and crazy rucus erupted throughout Alexandra...awesome
*Saw amazing music at 88 again on Sunday night when I should have been writing my paper but couldnt because my computer is busted again.
*Wasted incredible amounts of time and money shlepping back in forth to Sandton to get said computer fixed (someday...)
*Watched Jess have various fits of panic due to the impending deadline of her documentary, which by the way, is going to be very very kief (awesome).
*Watched jess assert herself with the voracity of 1000 Afrikaaner lions!
*Spent 7 hours straight locked in the slide library writing the crappiest research paper ever. At least it is done.
*Drank way too much Rooibus tea
*The guys house got broken into but luckily noone was home except Mpumi, who was sleeping, and all they got away with was a bunch of electronics and stuff. Huge bummer, but thank god noone was hurt.
*Watching Star Trek with Jess which mostly involved us making fun of how lame it is, and how lame we are for watching.
*Going to see the new Star Wars and admiring terrible acting but glorious distraction from impending doom of finals
By the way..its getting cold and the leaves are blowing around and my body is very very confused...fall in May??
