I will disagree with Knish on one point, though. "The problem with all of these examples is that Muslims want to have it both ways. On the one hand they want a blank check that allows them to treat any negative feedback as Islamophobia. On the other hand they want to be able to express any degree and form of hatred for others and support for terrorism in public forums without any repercussions." I disagree insofar as the jihadists in the world don't really want it both ways. They don't honestly desire to be treated with respect; they want to overcome dar al-Harb entirely. They scream "Islamophobia" because they're well aware of the sensitivities of liberal western democratic nations, and they know that the west cares much more about appearing nonjudgmental than it does about, y'know, defending itself.
They're striking at the weak spot, nothing more.
