[OOC] The New, Improved Character Survey of DOOM
Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is he heavyset, thin, short, rangy? About 6'3 and... 200 pounds? idk. He's pretty fuckin' built, mang. He's not thin in any sense of the word.
2. How old is he? 28 hurrdurr.
3. Describe his posture. Does he carry himself well or does he slouch? He'll slouch a tiny bit, usually.
4. How is his health? Is he fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities? His health is great! He's very fit! His condition is latent vampire cooties.
5. How does he move? Is he clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid? Dude, he's not very graceful. He just tends to go with what works and avoids getting hit as much as he can.
6. How attractive is this character physically? How does he perceive himself in the mirror? I personally would hump his brains out. I guess he's attractive. He thinks he's pretty good looking - no "Ugly am I" here.
7. Describe his complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred? He's got a light tan, and various scars - the most prominent of which is on his face.
8. Describe his hair: color, texture, style. Brown, hair-textured, and deliberately rumpled.
9. What color are his eyes? Hazel.
10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features? ABS. BEARD. TATTOO. GUNSHOW.
11. What are his chief tension centers? Between his shoulders, and about midway down his spine, and sometimes his ankles.
12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does he have six of the same suit? He wears what he can get a hold of, but he tends towards the strange and sarcastic (buffalo skull belt, "Hello my name is Fuck You"). He prefers cargo pants. Suits would be hard to get him in.
13. Do his clothes fit well? Does he seem comfortable in them? He likes them well enough.
14. Does he dress the same on the job as he does in his free time? If not, what are the differences? He does, but he tends to dress a tad more conservatively and stealthily when hunting.

Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse? It's about midrange. He sounds like Ryan Reynolds, who also holds a certain gravelly quality to it :3
2. How does he normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does he talk easily, or does he hesitate? He talks easily, not having much of a brain to mouth filter. He speaks loud, quickly.
3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics? He curses a heck of a lot :|
4. What language/s does he speak, and with how much fluency? English fluently, Esperanto mostly buzzwords.
5. Does he switch languages or dialects in certain situations? No.
6. Is he a good impromptu speaker, or does he have to think about his words? He's a good speaker :3
7. Is he eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change? He's by no means eloquent, but he isn't inarticulate either. He tends to lend more thought to words when in serious or romantic situations.
Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is he book-smart or street-smart? Street-smart and book-smart, but only to a degree on the second.
2. Does he think on his feet, or does he need time to deliberate? Thinks well on his feet, but not fantastically.
3. Describe the character's thought process. Is he more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical? Intuitive and practical.
4. What kind of education has the character had? He actually almost graduated college!
5. What are his areas of expertise? What, if anything, is he interested in learning more about? Archeology, ancient culture, like mesopotamian and cradle of life cultures.
6. Is he an introvert or an extrovert? Extrovert totally.
7. Describe the character's temperament. Is he even-tempered or does he have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven? He's driven, in a sense. He can be quite moody when he wants to be, and while he jokes and cracks about he's kind of depressing when you think about it :\
8. How does he respond to new people or situations? Is he suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic? He's wary, but generally enthusiastic and sarcastic.
9. Is he more likely to act, or to react? To react.
10. Which is his default: fight or flight? He straddles a line on both :3
11. Describe the character's sense of humor. Does he appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks? HE LOVES ALL OF IT.
12. Does the character have any diagnosable mental disorders? If yes, how does he deal with them? Not that I know of.
13. What moments in this character's life have defined him as a person? When he went into college, when he was turned into a vampire, when he was subsequently turned... meeting Bryn.
14. What does he fear? That Zoe and Abby really could be dead, that if he left the boat he wouldn't remember Bryn.
15. What are his hopes or aspirations? He wants to at least contact his friends back home.
16. What is something he doesn't want anyone to find out about him? He doesn't often share that he was a vampire with people.
Relationships
1. Describe this character's relationship with his parents. It was loving, nice, good.
2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like? Yes, he has two, and it was a good relationship. He loved them dearly and they liked to spoil him.
3. Are there other blood relatives to whom he is close? Are there ones he can't stand? Not that I can think of.
4. Are there other, unrelated people whom he considers part of his family? What are his relationships with them? Abby, Bryn comes close, and Ironhide is also getting there.
5. Who is/was the character's best friend? How did they meet? Abby. She saved him, and they have a wonderful dynamic.
6. Does he have other close friends? Bryn~ She separated him and Haine and Jere from fighting.
7. Does he make friends easily, or does he have trouble getting along with people? He can make friends, but he can also quickly drive them away.
8. Which does he consider more important: family or friends? Friends and family are the same thing.
9. Is the character single, married, divorced, widowed? Has he been married more than once? He's in a relationship.
10. Is he currently in a romantic relationship with someone other than a spouse? Yes, with Bryn <3 He waffles her a hell of a lot.
11. Who was his first crush? Who is his latest? A girl in seventh grade 8| and Bryn.
12. What does he look for in a romantic partner? He doesn't.. really have a type, beyond 'dangerous woman.'
13. Does the character have children? Grandchildren? If yes, how does he relate to them? If no, does he want any? No, he doesn't, but Zoe would be a good example of how he relates to them. I don't think he'd want kids at this point.
14. Does he have any rivals or enemies? Yes 8| Vampires and Danica in particular. Lilith is more of a rival.
15. What is the character's sexual orientation? Where does he fall on the Kinsey scale? He's straight, and a 1 on the scale. He's had homosexual encounters with a certain bitch vampire's brother and didn't like it.
16. How does he feel about sex? How important is it to him? Sex is important, now that he's got it back. He could go without it but he definitely has a healthy drive.
17. What are his turn-ons? Turn-offs? Weird bedroom habits? He loves to bring humor into the situation lol. His neck is particularly sensitive, as is his scalp.
Beliefs
1. Do you know your character's astrological (zodiac of choice) sign? How well does he fit type? Dunno.
2. Is this character religious, spiritual, both, or neither? How important are these elements in his life? Neither. He's not so sure about God, having seen vampires.
3. Does this character have a personal code of morals or ethics? If so, how did that begin? What would it take to compromise it? He doesn't really, just 'protect the humans from the vampires', but even then humans are sometimes working with the vampires.
4. How does he regard beliefs that differ from his? Is he tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent? Indifferent. As long as you're not pushing them on him he's good.
5. What prejudices does he hold? Are they irrational or does he have a good reason for them? He hates vampires. And with semi-personal-experience good reason.
Daily Life
1. What is the character's financial situation? Is he rich, poor, comfortable, in debt? His family was well enough off, but he was kinda going day-by-day before the boat.
2. What is his social status? Has this changed over time, and if so, how has the change affected him? He was popular, to dead toy, to unknown.
3. Where does he live? House, apartment, trailer? Is his home his castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Does he share it with others? He's always had to share his houses - with his sisters, his owner, then the Nightstalkers. He was alone on the boat, but he and Bryn spend a lot of time in each other's cabins now.
4. Besides the basic necessities, what does he spend his money on? GUNS.
5. What does he do for a living? Is he good at it? Does he enjoy it, or would he rather be doing something else? He hunts vampires. He's capable.
6. What are his interests or hobbies? How does he spend his free time? Fucking around.
7. What are his eating habits? Does he skip meals, eat out, drink alcohol, avoid certain foods? He avoids getting drunk, actually!
