Sometimes, [he admits-- carefully-- looking down as best he can to watch Todd's reaction.] It's not exactly that I want to, but... I wouldn't want everyone to find out during a curse.
[He'd been afraid that his answer would shut Todd down entirely; the fact that it hasn't makes him a little bolder, so he risks taking the admission a step further.]
And... I feel, sometimes, like the reasons to keep it secret aren't very good. It wouldn't hurt us here the way it could at home. And I'm not-- I'm not embarrassed. Of us.
