I'm all right. Really. It's all right.

If she left it means, it was time for her to leave, so it's okay.

I know, but...that doesn't always make it easier, knowing that.

...Would you like some company?

It helps a little, at least.

[this is sort of answer to both things.]

As much as anything can, I suppose. But I'm glad it does, even so.

We will need to find a new Lady Bracknell, though.

I'm sure we'll manage it. She's one of the smaller parts, at least, so she's not quite so daunting to take on. We'll come up with something.

Would you like some cocoa or tea with your company? I can bring some in.

I think we often get more actresses than actors interested, too...

Cocoa would be lovely.

[And sure enough, in a few minutes she comes wandering in (having dislodged herself from her many blankets, thankfully) with two mugs of cocoa and a plate of cookies balanced on one arm.]

[Neil's sitting on the bed, scrunched up by the pillows, arms around his knees, a book splayed open and ignored beside him. He doesn't look too miserable, just... thoughtful. He smiles for Rosella, though.]

Hey.

You're settling in all right, I see!

[She answers with a smile of her own, offering him one of the mugs of cocoa before taking a seat near the foot of the bed herself.]

...I'm sorry to hear she left, Neil.

[He takes the mug and sips before answering, sucking in a breath after because well, it's pretty hot.]

I think, she wouldn't have gone if she didn't know she was going wherever she was supposed to be. So it's all right.

I think that's the best way of looking at it, really. And sometimes the only way of looking at it, even. Because as nice as it is to have people here with us, sometimes other places need them more, and...and that's just how it is.

[Her voice is quiet, but sure of herself. That's the way she felt about Sam leaving, after all.]

[It's a little different with Yuuko; because wherever she's gone isn't home, and it makes him wonder... all the things she said about being where one's meant to be, and how that can change. Neil doesn't want to imagine where else he could belong, other than the City.]

And there's no shortage of people here, either, [he reminds them both, with a grin that is mostly genuine.] It's nice of you to take us in a while, Rosella.

[It's a relief to see Neil's grin, really. The brevity of his post on the Network had made her worry that he might be taking the loss harder than he was letting on; though she really didn't know much of Yuuko outside of the play and their rehearsals, it's clear to Rosella that she was an important person to Neil, and so she's sure that Yuuko must've been a kind and generous and thoughtful sort of person, if he liked her so much. And it's always a sad thing, to say goodbye to people like that. But at least he seems reasonably accepting of his friend's departure, even if it might hurt a little to let her go.]

Oh, I'm glad to do it, Neil. You know I always like having the company, and there's really no sense in staying in a wet apartment, either.

Mmhm. It can dry off just as easily without us there watching it.

[Accepting loss with grace is something he's working on; and with Yuuko, with everything she's said, it's a little easier. Hitsuzen. He doesn't pretend to understand it all, but he knows enough to trust she'll be all right.]

I'm glad that the Warehouse weathered the storm so well-- that most of the City did, really. It would've been awful to come back and find everything wrecked, after...

[He just kind of rolls his eyes, taking another sip.]
