(no subject)
So far, this week has been rather interesting. Not like a lot of stuff happened, but a few little incidents have made it fun.
I knew today was going to be a good day when I caught the guy who has been drawing penises on my door (culprit was a good natured guy who goes by Rolly, so he was forgiven). I lost a little bit of focus immediately after, made apparent when I accidentally shampooed my armpit in the shower. I tell you now, there is nothing that makes you laugh at yourself like doing that.
I spent 2.5 hours in the dining hall today, discussing sex with 2 different groups of people. Jurden enthusiastically led the first discussion, and after I sought refuge in a bunch of seemingly quiet theater majors, I was bombarded by a discussion much raunchier than the previous one. Their method was less directed at me specifically though, so it was easier to bear.
I've mostly done physics homework today, but I did take a break around 11pm to go visit leah as she composed her dance routine. I "helped" by plunking on the piano and laying down on the smooth dance floor and propelling myself from one side of the room to the other. Few things lift one's spirit like a well waxed floor.
I now know that at least 2 of the RAs and possibly the RD will recommend me for an RA job next fall, so I'm pretty excited about that. I know it'd be a lot of work, but I really like the idea of it, and the people I've consulted say I'd make a good RA.
I must return to the land of physics now. I've noticed that physics is very good at showing you what more interesting things you could be doing.
