It's hard for me to associate myself with other people. Generally, i don't care what people think of me, but that's because they're judging me by my actions and the way that i choose to present myself. But when you are affiliated with another person, then you no longer control how people see you. It feels as the actions of the person you are identified with, define who you are as well.
