Oh, Matt Saracen, how are you so awesome and so hot? Really? Also, initially this pairing did something weird to my brain and made it think we were writing Superman Returns/ Batverse again.

Just when I think I couldn't possibly worship you more, you come up with this. I'm at work right now, but expect an ecstatic review when I finally get a chance to read -- and squee about -- this fic.

Worship, I tell you!

Do post a link to this at fridaynight_tv. This fandom's too small not to share the wealth.

I'll meet you halfway, I posted it at be_perfect which is specifically for FNL fiction.

Tim Riggins glared for another minute and then smiled. "Hi, back."
Jason cocked his head to the side. "Do you want to come to my house and play football after school?"
Tim's hair flopped around his head as he nodded rapidly. "Sure."
*glee* This is exactly how it happened: the first step in their epic friendship. Perfect.

Jason looked down at Tim's mouth for a brief moment and then went back to his magazine.
Oh my. Yis. Of course it makes sense that Jason would be the one to make the first move. Someone on my f-list, I think it was alixnoorchis, said that Tim's dream come true would be to have a threesome with Jason and Lyla, and it's so true. Tim's always chasing around the girls in his life, whereas Jason's all about committing to the people most essential to him.

That definitely would be Tim's dream, but I think we've all noticed that Jason's not real good with the sharing. He loves them both, just not together.

Heh. True. I was replaying the last scene with the three of them, and even while Timmy was saying that the three of them would get through it together, and it was unintentioanlly hysterical because Lyla had two lines in the whole scene.
