On the Edge is not a particularly good film. It's Girl Interrupted, but with male protagonists. However, it does have one shining beacon of hotness that GI doesn't: Cillian Murphy. I thought of you today. See, I work in a small bookshop and this woman came in and said she had a 6 years old niece who'd just gotten a new baby sister. The woman was looking for a children's book that would help explain that to the six year old.
"Surely you have those" she said. "We probably do." I replied. But see I'm new to this job so obviously I don't know of all the books we have. Still, I started flipping through the books (just like the woman could have done herself, but I'm a helpful librarian. Still, I hate when they just stand there and stare at you while you search).
Sadly, books explaining death to kids came easier than birth. The first one I found, the lady immediately dismissed because in it the mother hadn't yet given birth until the last two pages. Then the second one, she just as quickly dismissed because it was about a boy getting a sister and she felt her niece wouldn't identify as much...

Let's just say, I finally understood your cry of write it your damn self then!

Cillian! I did like the movie, but I did and still do, liken it to Girl, Interrupted, but with boys. That's just what it is. Except for teh hot. And you can't deny the hot! Not Cillian. The cheekbones and the eyes and the bite and the gnnnnnnnh!!!! :> Yes. The pajamas. You cannot deny the pajamas.
