ohai I'm on an RP partner search.
if this isn't allowed, just let me know and I'll delete it. I have no idea if it is or not because there's like nothing in the profile but there's a bunch of multifandom RP ads, so...
this is also probably a bit hopeless due to the whole .hack//G.U. vol 3 being 2 or so years old now. but... I'm giving this idea one more shot before I give up and move on from G.U. fandom to something else.
basically, what I want to play: Haseo/Azure Kite shounen-ai but it can totally just be friends as well, and I'd be playing Azure Kite so I need a Haseo/Ryou. I have a kinda specific plot and stuff in mind, which is under the cut, but heck, anything non-AU would be fine with me because I'm sick of not being able to do anything about liking G.U. too much. (besides drawing Su-su-su Suki Daisuki [the Kagamine Rin song] parodies with Azure Kite and playing let's-caption-the-fanart with a friend.)
in a nutshell the idea: (Azure) Kite goes from AI --> IRL and Haseo/Ryou is the one who has to put up with him.
the next part is what I and a friend had worked out before bad things happened to said friend (she can't play anytime soon). some parts may not make sense because I've only played G.U. and I think said friend has only played it as well, but if you're interested, we can fix the parts of it that might need fixing.
Aura is looking for a way to study feelings in a more in-depth manner and after AIDA/etc was eliminated, her Azure Knights don't have too much to do any longer, so she comes up with the omgawesome idea of "let's send Kite-chan to Haseo's player Ryou and see what happens". so first, she dramatically expands Kite's vocabulary and shoves encyclopedias/wikipedias/thesauruses/etc into his programming/system/whatever it is so he will be able to understand real life and how to do things once he gets there (and figures out how to move and other things many people take for granted). and then, she does one of 2 things -- a) throws Kite out of the computer monitor onto Ryou or b) sends a Kite in a box to Ryou. or even a plan C if any potential player has a better idea.
like I said just a couple sentences ago, Kite has absolutely no idea how to do anything besides breathing, blinking and saying "aaaaah". probably after one or two "aaaaah"s Ryou should recognize who it is and while his reaction is up to whatever kind of Haseo this RP partner search drags up, he's supposed to call Yata to find out what on earth happened. what happens during and directly after that phone call, I don't know for sure yet but it can be worked out.
Ryou is at least supposed to feel bad for him and instead of... doing whatever he'd need to do to get Kite out of the house (after all, who would believe him saying that this kid came from the internets?) he does his best to teach Kite how to first move, then misc. survival-necessary things (though he might be able to figure out the bathroom by himself) and eventually how to speak so he can tell Ryou how the heck he went from just an AI to a real person. (though I'm not sure even he would know that, and I certainly don't have any big ideas.)
and anything after that is unknown, depends on what any partner would want to do with it. yaoi, cute romance, or maybe even het if someone really would like it.
said friend, if you read this, which I'm sure you will -- I'm just worried I'm going to fall out of G.U. fandom and lose interest before you can play with me. it's really quite likely.
I also am only looking for lighthearted RP, if you're extremely verbose and can't shorten it, I won't be able to keep up with you and will feel bad. XD; likewise, I don't want anything non-paragraph style (even though I'm probably going to only get one to three sentences per post) so if you only do script or don't do paragraph RPs well, then I'm not the person for you.
