I've been meaning to post these for a while, but it took my sister a while to get them to me because she had issues with the file and then with trying to burn them onto a disk. I didn't have any pics on a camera of my own because my camera decided to crap itself the day of my shower, lol.
So anyway, all these pictures were taken when I went to NY to visit my mom and my sister and have my baby shower at my mom's house. There's other stuff I wish I had pictures of like the party favors they gave out and such, but I never did get pics of them so maybe I can post pics of them later because I have leftover ones. Anyway, there were SO many pictures and this is just a portion of them...
***Starting the 1st day I got to NY - Sunday, May 20th, 2007 - 28w4d***
My sister started taking pictures of me almost as soon as I got to my mom's house in NY.
She took tons of belly shots :)
My sister put fake tattoos on my belly.
One is a shamrock and the little spot you see next to that are tiny butterflies.
You can see my stretchmarks a little bit as well as where I used to have my belly button pierced.
Again, you see the fake tats.
My tummy looks huge, lol.
My mom's dogs are so cute, kissing the baby belly :)
The dark one is a female named Britley and the one with white & brown is a male whose name is Buster.
This is outside my mom's house.
I'd just gotten into NY and I was still tired from the lack of sleep the night before and the 3.5 hour train ride.
***Then, the day of the baby shower - Saturday, May 26th, 2007 - 29w3d***
This one is on the day of my baby shower.
They sent my fiance and I out for a few hours that day so they could set up the house.
We went to see Pirates of the Carribbean 3.
This is when I came back from the movies with Billy (my fiance) and everyone was there waiting for us.
Tons of people from my family were there and I hadn't seen them in a long time.
Needless to say, I got tons of hugs.
This is my cousin, Jay.
More hugs from my cousin Tommy's wife (who is the sweetest ever).
You can see my Billy in the background on the left there :)
This is me and my grandma (my mom's mom).
She was one of the most super-excited that day!
She's in her mid-80s.
It was really awesome to have her be there!
My mom pinned me with a corsage.
The flowers in it were made of baby socks!
It was super cute!
Then my mom pinned Billy with his little baby shower ribbon :)
There were some really cute decorations.
My mom and sister went all out.
Here is an umbrealla they hung on the wall with "it's a boy" ribbon.
At the end of each ribbon, there's a little tag that says "Michelle's baby shower"
They ordered the tags for me and put them on almost everything!
The cake, of course.
And it was definitely yummy!
Kinda blurry, but such a cute pic that I couldn't pass it up.
This is Billy and my grandma.
These two are the CUTEST boys ever.
My mom's friend Shannon was my babysitter when I was younger.
She was there for my shower and these are her two boys...FREAKING ADORABLE!
In the blue shirt - Sharon (my mom has been friends with her FOREVER and is now married to her brother. Sharon's son and I grew up together and are only about a week apart).
In the reddish shirt - Shannon, my baby sitter from when I was little (mother of the cute boys above).
Sitting - my grandma, again :)
Just a pic of the huge pile of presents!
Just one of the many "opening of gifts" pictures.
There are too many to post them all, but here's one of the priceless faces, haha.
In this one, I got a Precious Moments lamp that I LOVE!
Here's one with me and my step-dad.
I got TONS of baby clothes!
One of my terribly un-flattering "how cute" faces, lol.
The onesie says "Monkey Business" I think...
More clothes!
Some of them were just too cute...I wish I could post pics of EVERYTHING.
That's my sister's head in the bottom left corner.
She sat down there and helped me with the presents :)
(Just for a side note, her name is Danielle and she's 26 - 7 years older than me).
My sister bought tons of Yankees stuff for him!
I'm wearing the little hat she got for him, lol.
SO CUTE!
"My first Yankees tee"
My grandma crocheted a blankie and some hats for him!
She crocheted baby stuff for me when I was a baby, too.
It was really sweet, especially considering it's so hard for her these days!
Just a couple of the hats.
There were 4 of them!
We modelled some of the hats she made and I got a grandma kiss :)
The blankie she made is so cute and soft :)
I sat back down and my sister made me start crying about the sweet gift from my grandma, lol.
Another silly face, lol.
The bib said "mommy's little monster" :)
This one is too cute not to post...there's a crab on the butt!
I know, I go into cuteness overload with baby things, lol.
My mom's neighbor bought us a swing!
He never even met me before!
It was so sweet.
Here's my moment of glory I suppose, lol.
The traditional baby shower hat made by my sister from a paper plate and ribbons and such from the gifts.
Billy got his time to sit in the chair and get gifts too!
This is the cutest shirt ever!
"I love my daddy" bibs.
So adorable...and no, I don't know what he was looking at, lol.
Baby essentials for daddy :)
We stuck the baby shower hat on him for this pic.
He got the Eddie Bauer manly diaper bag he REALLY wanted.
Haha, so cute.
Billy checks out the travel system my sister bought for us.
My boobs snuck into the bottom left of this pic, lmao.
Billy and his "sexy" pose, lol.
Blurry, but too funny.
And here's me with the stroller too, lol.
Cake cutting time!
Can you tell I love cake these days? lol
