Back from the abyss?

You would think that by now one or both members of the lucky couple would have documented such a happy occasion themselves, I have been waiting for the green light to congratulate them on my lj but didn't in fear of letting the cat out of the bag :P.

I love cookies.

They sort of announced it on Facebook (after they sorted out the confusion of a change of status from dating to engaged - you have to confirm these things or it looks like you have broken up). I think the stress level of Jesse's work load and Peta's job hunting was about all they were thinking about. Now that Peta is employed (hurrah!) I'm sure the rest will fall into place.

Didn't get to the cookies (although I did make the tea). I guess that's tomorrow evening's task. I love cookies too - they are hard to keep in the tin around here between Jesse, Doug, Lukas and the occasional visit from my Dad or Travis. I am surrounded by 'cookie monsters'!

I rarely facebook so missed that status change.

You left out Peta on your list of 'cookie monsters'. She was a huge cookie grabbing fiend when we were at home :)

Peta bakes some of the cookies so I count her as a 'net cookie provider' rather than a consumer. Doug fits that status as well, but the rest tend to consume rather than bake.

I am not a cookie fiend! >:O

I'm more of a cookie friend... ^.^'

Muff has a great kitchen and one of those kitchen aid mixers. I love baking at her house! I even clean up after! (Boy, mum and dad would be impressed.)
